Blandlord veröffentlichte gestern ihren Song “Hyper Drunk”. Dabei geht es in dem psychedelisch wirkenden Rockstück um verlorene Kontrolle und um das, was zum Beispiel der Alkohol mit uns macht. Dabei ist ‘Drunk’ auch auf viele andere sinnbetäubende Mittel anwendbar. Alles was uns im Nachhinein betrachtet fragil macht. Viel Interpretationsraum gibt uns die Band in ihrem Statement allerdings nicht: “Our new track ‘Hyper Drunk’ is about control and excess – how easy it is to get caught in a loop. The wrong decision can trap you in a bad situation. This song is about coming to the realization that you can use all types of things, especially alcohol, for a myriad of purposes.
